Post-Tropical Cyclone Jasper Cleanup Program
Cook Shire Council and Queensland Reconstructive Authority are assisting local residents and businesses to clean up properties impacted by the TC Jasper floods.

In response to Tropical Cyclone Jasper, Cook Shire Council is offering extensive cleanup support to residents. Funded through a $20 million package by the Queensland Reconstruction Authority, this program aims to assist local communities in recovering from the cyclone’s impact.
Residents and busineses affected by the TC Jasper and associated floods are encouraged to contact Cook Shire Council for assistance with the cleanup process.
Services Offered:
- Green waste removal
- Removal of flood debris and vehicle bodies
- Silt clearing
Requsts for assistance will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Submissions must close on 30 September 2024.
