Public Notice: Scheduled Maintenance Works

Please be advised of upcoming maintenance works in the area. The tentative schedule, subject to favorable weather conditions, is as follows:

Airport Access Road and Airport Carpark Line Marking

  • Date: Wednesday, 29 May 2024
  • Details: Line marking will also take place on the airport access road and carpark.
  • Instructions: Avoid leaving vehicles parked in these areas during the maintenance period.

Charlotte Street Line Marking

  • Date: Thursday, 30 May 2024
  • Start Time: Approximately 6:00 AM
  • Details: Contractors will be performing line marking work on Charlotte Street. To minimise inconvenience, traffic control will be present to manage the flow of traffic. Parking will be blocked off in the late afternoon on Wednesday, 29 May.
  • Instructions: Please avoid parking on/along Charlotte St. between the Walker St. and Bank St. intersections. Alternative parking arrangements should be made for a duration of 5-6 hours during the maintenance period.

Hope Street Intersections Line Marking

  • Date: Thursday, 30 May 2024
  • Start Time: Expected between 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (after completion of Charlotte St. works)
  • Details: Line marking will occur at intersections from Ida St. to Green St. Some traffic interruptions and minor delays are expected. Temporary detours will be in place, and TC will be on-site to guide traffic.
  • Instructions: Follow the detour signs and TC instructions for safe passage through the area.

Grassy Hill Road Line Marking

  • Date: Thursday, 30 May 2024
  • Start Time: After completion of Hope St. works
  • Details: Line marking will occur from the Baird St. intersection to the top of Grassy Hill Road. The road will be closed for a few hours during this time.
  • Instructions: Only local residents will be permitted access. Please speak to the TC or supervisor on-site for further guidance.
