Changes to Lakeland Waste Transfer Facility Operations

Residents and visitors to Lakeland are being advised that, effective 1 July 2024, the Lakeland Waste Transfer Facility will reduce its operating days.

From Monday, 1 July 2024 the facility will be open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturdays.

Fees and charges for waste disposal will remain in place.

This change aims to standardise service levels across our communities and ensure efficient waste management.
